Pallet rack permits in South Carolina and North Carolina, filed for you.
PE-stamped drawings, seismic calcs, high-pile storage coordination — we file as Contractor of Record and stand at the inspection.
What triggers a permit
Most racking projects need a permit. The usual triggers are:
- Rack taller than your county or city allows without a permit
- High-piled storage in the building
- Changes to your layout, rack loads or exit paths
We check your jurisdiction's requirements and handle the permit, so you don't have to work out which ones apply.
What's in the package
- Layout and elevation drawings with seismic calculations, sealed by a licensed PE
- Fire marshal coordination for high-piled storage, covering commodity class, sprinkler requirements and egress

Permit questions
Who files the pallet rack permit?
We do. We file as Contractor of Record under our SC and NC General Contractor licenses, so you don't need a separate contractor to pull the permit. A licensed PE seals the drawings.
What goes into a rack permit package?
PE-sealed layout and elevation drawings with seismic calculations, an egress plan, and high-piled storage review with the fire marshal when your building requires it. We file everything with your county or city and manage the review through to permit approval.
What happens if plan review requires changes?
We make them at no cost to you. It's part of the Sign-Off Guarantee: we're not done until your county signs off.
Is engineering and permitting included in the project price?
Yes. Engineering, permit fees, filing and plan review are all included, with no separate engineering or permit invoices.
